The Function of Distribution Box

1. Reasonable distribution of electric energy.

2. It is convenient to open and close the circuit.

3. It has a higher level of safety protection and can visually display the on-state of the circuit.

Cautions for installation of distribution boxes:

(1) The total distribution box, distribution box and switch box should be set up in the construction power distribution system, and graded according to the order of "total-separate-open", and a "three-level distribution" mode should be formed.

(2) The installation position of distribution boxes and switch boxes in construction distribution system should be reasonable. The main distribution box should be as close as possible to the transformer or external power supply for the introduction of power supply. Distribution box should be installed in the central area of power equipment or relatively concentrated load to ensure the balance of three-phase load. The position of switchbox installation should be as close as possible to the electrical equipment controlled by the switchbox according to the site conditions and working conditions.

(3) Guarantee the three-phase load balance of the temporary power distribution system. The power and lighting power in the construction site should form two power circuits. The power distribution box and the lighting distribution box should be set up separately.

(4) All electrical equipment at the construction site must have their own special switchboxes.

(5) The boxes and internal installations of distribution boxes at all levels must conform to safety regulations. Switching appliances should be marked for use and the boxes should be uniformly numbered. The power supply should be cut off and the door of the distribution box should be locked. Fixed distribution boxes should be fenced with rain and smash-proof measures.
