304/316 stainless steel: 304 stainless steel (18Cr-8Ni) is suitable for conventional industrial environments and is resistant to atmospheric corrosion and freshwater erosion; 316 stainless steel (16Cr-10Ni-2Mo) has significantly improved resistance to chloride ions (such as seawater and salt water spray) due to the addition of molybdenum, making it the first choice for coastal projects and chemical workshops. Both materials are IP66/NEMA 4X certified and are completely dustproof, resistant to high-pressure water jets and splashes of slightly corrosive liquids.

Invisible heat dissipation system: Utilizing the thermal conductivity of stainless steel and the micro-groove design on the inner wall, 200W heat dissipation can be achieved without an external fan, which is suitable for high-temperature environments (such as smelting workshops).

 

Humanized operation: Removable hinged door, internal DIN rail installation and optional tempered glass observation window support rapid maintenance and real-time monitoring.

 

Installation and maintenance points

Installation steps:
Use M6 expansion bolts (torque 15N・m) for concrete walls and self-tapping screws + waterproof gaskets for metal walls to ensure horizontal deviation <2mm.
Introduce cables from the bottom gland and fill the gaps with sealing putty to maintain IP rating.

Maintenance list:
Check the compression of the sealing ring (≥2mm) quarterly and remove oxidation spots with 3M stainless steel cleaner annually.
Replace the EPDM rubber strip every three years and heat it to 50°C to ensure sealing.

FAQ:

How to ensure that the cable entry does not damage the corrosion resistance and waterproof performance of the shell during installation? ​

 

The key lies in the sealing treatment of the cable penetration: ​

 

Use a dedicated waterproof connector: The standard stainless steel gland must match the cable diameter, and the internal rubber seal must completely wrap the cable sheath. After tightening, the waterproof level can reach IP66. ​

 

Multi-cable scenario: If multiple cables are passed through, a multi-hole sealing plate (with elastic silicone pad) must be used. The single-hole single-cable design avoids water seepage in the gap; the redundant holes are sealed with waterproof plugs. ​

 

Direct hole opening is prohibited: non-standard holes must be pre-installed by the manufacturer to avoid on-site cutting that damages the surface passivation layer (stainless steel) or resin matrix (FRP), resulting in local corrosion. ​

 

Grounding treatment: The shielding layer of the metal shell cable must be reliably connected to the box through the grounding bolt to prevent electrochemical corrosion (especially when different metals are in contact).
