Top-grade stainless steel material selection
304 stainless steel (18Cr-8Ni): has basic waterproof and rust-proof capabilities, suitable for indoor dry environments, urban outdoor (such as traffic light control boxes) or slightly humid scenes, resistant to atmospheric corrosion and freshwater erosion, cost-effective (30% lower than 316), and meets IP66 protection level.
316 stainless steel (16Cr-10Ni-2Mo): Adding molybdenum elements, the ability to resist chloride ion corrosion is increased by more than 3 times, and it can resist seawater, salt spray (such as coastal areas), and chemical solutions (such as 5% sodium chloride environment). It is suitable for extremely humid + high corrosion scenes, and has passed NEMA 4X/IP67 certification, with better protection performance.
Multiple sealing systems:
The door frame is equipped with EPDM rubber sealing ring (compression ≥ 2mm) as standard, and with continuous welding process, the waterproof level reaches IP66 (anti-high-pressure water jet)/IP67 (short-term immersion), effectively preventing rain and dust from intruding.
An optional waterproof gland is used, and the cable entrance is filled with silicone sealing putty to ensure that there is no leakage at the perforation position.
Humanized detail design:
The removable hinged door is equipped with a quarter-turn lock, which can be opened and closed quickly while enhancing the sealing;
The inner wall is preset with DIN rail/mounting plate to support quick fixing of equipment, and 20% heat dissipation space is reserved to avoid condensation water accumulation.

FAQ：
Will the stainless steel shell age if exposed to UV for a long time? How to deal with it?
Ultraviolet influence: Stainless steel itself has strong UV resistance and will not become brittle like plastic shells, but 304 material may "yellowing" (thickening of oxide film) in strong UV + high humidity environment, which does not affect the protective performance.
Treatment method:
Wipe with stainless steel special polish (such as Flitz) every year to restore the surface gloss;
Anti-UV coating (transparent epoxy resin, thickness 5-10μm) can be selected to extend the surface beauty life by 3-5 years.
