- Sealed Door-to-Body Structure
The Weatherproof Steel Wall-Mount Enclosure uses a closed door-to-body structure with a continuous gasket around the enclosure opening. When the door is properly closed and locked, the gasket compresses against the mating surface to reduce pathways for rainwater, dust, and airborne contaminants.
- Protected Electrical Installation Space
The enclosed cabinet body provides a separate space for electrical and control components, keeping installed equipment away from direct exposure to rain, dust, and outdoor contaminants. The enclosure configuration can be selected according to the actual installation environment.
- Weather-Resistant Surface Protection
The steel enclosure can be treated with a powder-coated surface finish to provide additional protection for the steel substrate during outdoor installation. Material and coating specifications can be selected according to humidity, exposure conditions, and project requirements.
- Sealed Cable Entry
Cable entry points are designed to work with suitable cable glands or other sealing components. Properly sealed cable entries help prevent water and dust from entering through wiring openings and maintain the intended enclosure protection configuration.

Yes. The enclosure is designed for wall-mounted installation and can be fixed to suitable exterior walls or supporting structures. The wall and fixing method should be capable of supporting the fully equipped enclosure.
What is the difference between weatherproof and waterproof?
Weatherproof generally refers to protection against environmental exposure such as rain, dust, and humidity. The actual level of water protection depends on the enclosure's specified IP rating and installation configuration.
Can the enclosure be exposed to direct sunlight?
It can be used in outdoor locations, but long-term sunlight exposure should be considered when selecting the steel surface treatment and installation position. For demanding outdoor conditions, the coating and material specification should be confirmed in advance.
