How to choose a suitable metal electrical box?
Use environment: choose ordinary carbon steel or aluminum alloy for dry indoor environment; stainless steel, anti-corrosion or explosion-proof electrical box for wet, outdoor or special dangerous environment (such as flammable and explosive places).
Electrical parameters: select the electrical box corresponding to the load according to the rated current and voltage of the line, and select the appropriate protection level (IP code) according to the environment.
Installation method and size: open installation is convenient for maintenance, and concealed installation is beautiful; according to the number and size of components, choose the appropriate size that can accommodate and has loose wiring.
Material and quality: carbon steel has high strength, low price but poor corrosion resistance; stainless steel is corrosion-resistant and high cost; aluminum alloy is light and has good heat dissipation. Choose products with sturdy shell, good surface and strong welding.
