Size range: Common specifications are 6x6x4 inches to 10x10x6 inches (152x152x102mm to 254x254x152mm), and some models support customized smaller sizes (such as 4x4x3 inches).

Internal structure:

Removable back panel: pre-installed galvanized mounting plate, support DIN rail or PCB board direct fixation, some models are equipped with modular dividers to optimize wiring space.

Multi-circuit design: sufficient space is reserved inside to accommodate small PLCs, relays, power modules and other devices, suitable for complex control systems.

When installing a small stainless steel wall-mounted box, how to ensure that the sealing strip is effective for a long time? What are the details that are easy to overlook?

Three key installation details:
Control of the pre-compression of the strip:
The standard compression rate must reach 25%-30% (such as 5mm strip compressed to 3.5-3.75mm). Too loose will cause leakage, and too tight will accelerate aging;
Inspection method: After closing the cabinet door, gently pull the strip along the edge. If there is no sliding, it is qualified.
Cable gland matching:
The error between the cable diameter and the gland sealing aperture must be less than 0.5mm. A separator sleeve must be used in multi-cable scenarios (to avoid a single cable loosening and causing overall leakage);
Example: 0.5-inch gland is suitable for 6-8mm cable, and 10mm cable needs to choose 0.75-inch specification.
Cabinet level adjustment:
Tilt angle > 5° will cause condensed water to gather on the sealing surface. It is recommended to calibrate with a level meter and reserve a 5mm drainage gap during installation (open a φ5mm drainage hole at the bottom).
Risks that are easy to ignore: Due to the small size of small boxes, the hinges are prone to sag due to long-term load-bearing (especially when installing heavier equipment). It is recommended to install auxiliary support plates (such as L-shaped stainless steel brackets).
